Five years ago, the Human Resources Department at the Bank approached me with a request to enter the Best Places to Work competition for the State of Kentucky. At first, I was a little reluctant with the uncertainty that we could even make the list out of the 17,000 business across the Bluegrass State and worried that it might also produce more problems than answers and solutions, as many questionnaires tend to do.

Well, we did it again.
We have been named one of the Best Places to Work in Kentucky for the fourth year in a row. Of course that brings the public awareness and press coverage which in turn brings in the best bankers in the state as they find out how happy our employees truly are at Independence Bank.
